"BloomInArt are a community arts organisation based in Hartlepool. We strive to improve access to the arts in areas of multiple deprivation, focusing on the positive health and wellbeing and educational benefits delivered through participation.
We are currently delivering the Silver Lining creative project using the arts to create community solidarity and help reduce effects of isolation, bringing people together during the pandemic. The project connects the town,
through remote creative tasks to create a collaborative piece of public artwork. BloomInArt created and distributed 1000 creative packages to vulnerable households within our community, making this project more inclusive and accessible to all.
Specialist Crafts is our go-to- supplier for any creative project due to the high quality of the products. We had a budget to stick to and the team worked with us to create a beautiful box which included exactly what we
needed. The pre-packaged boxes were a life saver as we were able to concentrate on connecting with groups and not packing the 1000 boxes.
We are thrilled with the content, quality and service we received. All boxes are now out in the community and we have received an amazing response from across the town from care homes,
to young carers. It's been so wonderful to inspire creativity within their lives."
