Specialist Crafts Lead-Free Stoneware Matt Brush On Glazes 1L

Matt finish brush-on stoneware glazes by Specialist Crafts. They are lead-free and require only 2-3 coats to produce matt colours once kiln fired. The glaze results will vary depending on which body clays are used. White clay produce more uniform colours, but if applied to buff coloured clays the iron in the clay creates mottled effects especially at the higher end of the firing range which is visually very appealling. Experiment with test tiles before applying to you finished piece. Firing range 1200-1280⁰C. 1 Litre tub.
